John Galliano's theatrical collection at the Opera Comique was inspired by Maria Lani, a muse who persuaded many of Paris's most famous artists of the 1920s to paint her portrait. Each outfit in the collection was unique, representing a work by painters such as Matisse, Chagall and Braque.
