Born in Valencia Spain, Elisa Palomino developed a passion towards textiles very early. Her first move landed her in London where she studied fashion at Central St Martin's. After having spent five years at Moschino designing the Cheap and Chic line, John Galliano recruits her to work for his own label and Christian Dior. At Dior, she had the chance to work next to the "
petites mains" at the Haute Couture Ateliers. Having worked with a fashion icon like John Galliano has been a great influence on Elisa's universe. In February 2010, Elisa launches her first collection during New York fashion week with great success among the international press.
Her latest collection F/W 2011/2012 was held on Tuesday, in Rome during Alta Roma fashion week, January 29-February 1. Inspired by the Geisha look, the collection features lavish kimonos, delicate fabrics in pastel colors, exquisite floral prints and precious embroideries.
