It has been 7 years since this extraordinary alliance began between the universe of luxury and a humanitarian movement. The greatest fashion designers, famous artists, creators of fine jewelry, and prominent personalities joined with UNICEF to help a vital humanitarian cause: Save the children of Darfur!
This joint venture gained momentum and mushroomed into an important annual event: Frimousses de Createurs. These dolls became real works of art, and a way for collectors and lovers of art and fashion to aid the children of Darfur.
Beginning last year, the Frimousses de Createurs event was centered around a theme, to allow designers and artists to display their own creativity. This year, the theme chosen is Nature.
Frimousses de Createurs is currently on exhibit at the Petit Palais and runs from November 29 to December 4, 2011. In addition, an auction of these unique works of art will take place at Drouot-Montaigne on December 13.
