Mr. West is in the Building

Now I don't know how true this is, but rumors have been flying that Kanye West will be debuting his very own line this September at New York Fashion Week. According to British fashion magazine Grazia,

“With studios in both East London and New York, Kanye has apparently hired knit-wear supremo, Louise Goldin, to oversee design, St Martins MA legend, Louise Wilson, has been giving him one-to-one tuition – which explains his previous declarations that he wanted to study at the prestigious art school - and assumptions are that he has hired a very established stylist to work as a consultant.”

If this really happens, I personally will be ecstatic. Kanye fans have been waiting for this for so long , and to have an African American head his own line at fashion week is beyond beyond. His shoes and scarves have only given the slightest taste to what he really is about. Just think about what the runway show would look like . . . because if there is one thing that Mr. West knows, its PRODUCTION. *Sigh* I already have goosebumps.
