#TeamVogueD I am all for doing what makes you happy and following your dreams, however Lil' Mama at some point you must realize that you have exhausted your opportunities. Today I stumbled upon Lil' Mama's new joint, and it is clear that she is trying to revamp her image into a mix of MC Lyte and Nicki Minaj. Lil’ Mama does look better, but the video had NO point and the song could have been WAY better.#TeamVogueD, I really don't know what the song is about, so just check it out and leave a comment: VOGUE or NO?

Dutch visual artist Ruud van Empel (1958) hardly needs any introduction. He is one of the most extraordinary photographic artists at this time. Van Empel has developed a unique working method within digital photography. The images he compiles display a hallucinatory world primarily populated by children and dreamy adolescents. By referring to immemorial notions of virtue and innocence, Van Empel's works are interesting from both an art-historical and cultural-historical angle.

And is it all quite as endearing as it appears at first sight? This aspect gives the work of Ruud van Empel a fascinating depth, in addition to the enormous spread of color and wealth of detail that make his work a feast for the eye.

"I describe myself as an Executive Producer because I was blessed by the Urban Feed Mag , LLC my own online show that I have full creative control over. I create skits, interviews, and decide what topics I want to cover, and present it as a show entitled "The Conversation Piece". I describe myself as an on-air personality because I am host of every webisode I put out and I do freelance on-camera interviews with different people throughout entertainment for different media outlets. I also describe myself as a host because I have been hosting a number of events, from club parties, house parties, concerts, mixtapes and even certain artist have asked me to host their 10-30 minute sets at concerts. I am willing to expand and host any type of event presented to me, in hopes of building my resume/portfolio in the field.

I admit that this post may be biased because I am in fact a huge Kanye West fan, but who cares ? As Usual Mr. West' outfit was the talk of the VMAs. He never ever seems to disappoint! The reason I love Kanye is because he is such a style chameleon, which is a hard quality to find in men these days. As a Fashion Icon, he is able to wear jeans & kicks one day [grill included;], a Tory Burch suit the next, and even dabble in women's wear & different textures like leather & snakeskin. He is truly fearless, & thus set trends.
Last night, Kanye wore an Ombre Chambray Button Down showing a bit of chest in true Yeezy Fashion, which is reportedly from Theyskens for Theory’s Resort 2012 collection, simple & slightly distressed jeans, an American Flag & a pair of the Watermelon Nike Air Yeezy 2s.
The Chambray shirt which has been reoccurring trend for both men & women for countless of seasons, is clearly going nowhere. The Ombre version that Mr. West has is not only a unique twist on the closet staple, but also can be quite flattering for anyone who would want a slimming effect. [The darker bottom half can help camouflage any chubby waists or muffin tops]
The shirt goes well with lighter wash jeans without being too matchy-matchy, & the American Flag is just swagg beyond swagg. & There is no real reason to go into detail about his highly coveted shoes. But I will ask my guys, "Have You Started Your Yeezy Fund Yet?" I know you want them . . .

As I ate my gumbo and potato salad, and watched the VMA's, I was definitely shaking my damn head. I didn't even what to go in like this, but upon further review.....I have NO choice. Check it out below.
1. Sooo MTV copy & pasted BET?Am I the only person who realized that while MTV claimed not have a host this year, Kevin Hart was definitely fulfilling host duties? Hart clearly opened up the show with jokes and performed skits throughout the award ceremony...if that ain't a host, I don't know what is.
In addition to MTV hiring Hart as the comedian of the night, they had the audacity to have Jessie J. doing covers of popular songs during intermission. VOGUE | Diaspora if you didn't know, at this year's BET Award, Karmin and her husband did covers on the red carpet. So, either MTV & BET miraculously came up with the same ideas or somebody biting....I'm just saying.
2. So Nobody told Beyonce they invented Plan B?While watching the VMA's I received the shock of my life. With a love filled performance in dedication to her husband, Beyonce revealed the rumored pregnant belly. And yes #TeamVogueD I was upset. Why would Beyonce release an album that all of her loyal fans (points at self) went and purchased. We all know Beyonce gives thee BEST live show, and the fact she is leaving us hanging is mind boggling. NO "4" world tour DVD for us this year & NO "End of Time" music video.... TRAGIC!
3. Adele Nude Nails...Yes!!!Remember when I told #TeamVogueD in theBreaking News Post that in Europe the Nude Polish is always Chic, well Adele got the memo. Dressed in black with her waist cinched, and lashes full...honey Adele gave me life. Her face as beautiful as her voice & she was looking the part with her oval nude nails. A++ for you honey.
4. Nicki....AGAIN????So once again Nicki Minaj is in need of June Ambrose! Check out this catastrophe below.
5. Yves Saint Laurent! I spotted YSL accessories on Kevin Hart and Justin Bieber & we all know that a man in style is a man for us.
6. Ghetto Phi Ghetto!! First of all, did Tyler, The Creator really accept his Best New artist award like he has NO home training? They bleeped Tyler's entire speech, while his mom was in the audience crying like he just won a Grammy. He was the messiest person at the VMA's! Even though he does make hot track, his actions at the award show was childish, immature and unacceptable.We all know he won't be receiving any accolade anytime soon!

I’m not sure my style can be put in one category, because I’m forever trying new looks. I love to mix and match and experiment with different cultures view of style(of course with my own twist)
One area of fashion I dabble in more than others is VINTAGE! I love the Thrift store, because I know chances of another female wearing my outfit are ‘slim to none’!

The confidence that you possess is alluring; If only all women could be so confident in what they wear! The dress in the first photo is darling, I just wished you would have pulled your hair back because there's so much going on with the print and structure of it all. I think it slightly takes away from the execution of the look. The blue in the last photo goes well with your skin. You can never really go wrong with a nice fitted dress, blazer, & pumps. ;]
I completely adore the re-emergence of Male Fashion. These days it's possible to be polished, and well put together, while still being 100% masculine. Needless to say, these Lanvin loafers give me life. Perfect && right on time for Fall . . .
Seven grand isn't much money at all. . .;) Plus I always stress quality over quantity right ?
